康德
The Empire of Manchukuo was the effort by the Manchu people, loyalists of the Great Qing Dynasty and the Great Empire of Japan to restore Manchurian independence from republican China and to restore the monarchy of the legitimate ruler of the Manchu people. It was, after all, the Qing Dynasty which had gained control, first by alliance, of Mongolia and then over the Han Chinese with the crumbling of the Ming Dynasty. The Ming had not conquered Manchuria but the Qing had, in effect, conquered China. Manchuria was not so much a part of the "Chinese" Empire as China was a part of the "Manchu Empire" of the Qing. So, when China betrayed their imperial system and established a republic, there was no reason why that should have changed anything for areas not part of China such as Mongolia, Tibet or Manchuria. If the Qing were no longer wanted in China, they should have reverted to their rule of Manchuria which they held before becoming the rulers of the whole of China. The Empire of Manchukuo was an effort by the Empire of Japan to redress this situation, restore the legitimate monarchy and to establish a friendly government on the continent that would work in conjunction with Japan and Korea (and hopefully friendly forces in China) and other areas to withstand the spread of communist aggression from the Soviet Union.
